1) The order of sharps in a key signature can be remembered by "Father Charles Goes Down And Ends Battle" (F,C,G,D,A,E,B).

2) The order of flats can be remembered by "Battle Ends And Down Goes Charles Father" (B,E,A,D,G,C,F).
